Christmas Lights?!
Leylands christmas decorations have to be the worst I've ever seen for a town it's population (45,000+). The Christmas tree on Hough Lane roundabout is half decent but the decorations on Hough Lane and Towngate are pathetic!

How come the council don't put lights-up on the lamposts! I know South Ribble Borough Council are stingy gits but the decorations this year take the pi*s! I mean High Walton have better decorations than Leyland and It's a fraction of the size of Leyland!

Don't mean to moan but the decorations are embarrassing!

Thats Higher Walton, which funnily enough is in South Ribble. Forgot to add that the council have give Leyland Christmas decorations that arn't good enough for a village!

We will have a look when we visit this christmas. Glastonbury has a population of 9000 and the lights are not bad for such a small town.

Nothing to do with lights, but it's the only suitable place.
A Happy Christmas and a Forum New Year to all members and families.
Now, how do we encourage all the members to participate and write. I'm sure there must be plenty of material out there, don't worry about perfect English, it's the stories and memories we want.
