I checked the Leyland Guardian on-line archive and found that Worden Hall burned down in 1941 and most of the ruins were demolished in 1976.

Thanks Frank I knew it was the cinema that burned down not woolworths but thought the youngers ones wouldn't remember about the cinema[Big Grin][Big Grin]

I think it has been split into two units now. Netto is in the main part of the building and the other part is to let.
