Thats the problem with computers, everyone seems to teach themselves, they learn a few things that work (possibly badly) and stick with them. When people come on to my classes they usually put themselves on a level higher than their real ability, ie. people with no knowledge of saving files etc. book for Intermediate/advanced Photoshop classes.
Knowledge of things like Home/End Page Up/Page Down is simple but most people dont learn it, then spend hours a year doing it a harder way. For that reason I am restarting my free online course to teach basic computer skills via video tutorials, I am working on it now and will have it out in the next month or two. I will post details on here when it goes live, I am sure that many members of the forum will like it.
