Aaaarrgh! If I'd ever harboured any thoughts about becoming a circus poster collector, this ghastly collection would put me off big time. Thank you, Phil, for keeping me on the straight and narrow...!!!

The Planet Circus poster required from the opening thread will be tame compared to some of those on that site !! As for my Romany friends Pete, to be fair ( no pun intended ! ) the circus and funfair folk do leave the place as they found it unlike the other lot who trespass and seem to do as they please on their brief and troublesome stays ! They seem to be good at 3 things, Laying a gossamer like layer of tarmac over an existing driveway, bare knuckle fighting and making a complete balls up of tree trimming !! What they need is a good dose of ethnic cleansing !! [}Smile]

Further to the tar maccers, tree fellers etc, they would soon be out of business if it was not for the gullability of the British Public. I remember as a very young bobby in Glossop. A woman had bought a roll of Lino at her door, the 'Salesman' had told her that it would cover the kitchen floor some 12feet by 10feet when she came to lay it the lino roll was just 4 feet so never buy anything at the door. Not even Kleeneezy or Betterware.

Shred it and send it back to head office with a bill for confiential destruction. Doesn't stop the next cluckwit, but it relieves the frustration.
