Hello All how are ya ?
Hello people,
Im Shaun in Chorley, I joined the Leyland forum because Chorley and Leyland are nearly always linked in one way or another and our two boroughs merge along quite an area.
I run a house clearance and rubbish removal business providing a cost effective alternative to Skip hire. We also do specialist cleaning of drug dens, squats and properties where a body may have been undiscovered for a while... sorry if you are having your tea !

Not a pleasant job at times but it has its rewards. We have just completed a house clearance in Leyland, very nice people and they were very happy with our work.
We also do Garden tidy jobs look at the difference http://www.clearthishouse.co.uk/galleries and we will usually powerwash everything down after too for that finishing touch.

There seems to be hundreds of scrap wagons roaming our streets looking for old washers, fridges and Freezers but Did you know.... if you allow your old appliances to be taken by these cold callers and they are not licensed to carry waste.... you could be fined £5000, as well as the guy taking it being done too ! We are licensed carriers and our details can be found on the Environment Agency Website public register of waste carriers.

Also if you call us to remove your old appliances you wont need to allow unknowns into your garages, or gardens , you never know who these people are but with us you get full contact details and the knowledge that we are licensed too .

Hiya Dave and Martin,

I see I have met one of the Meldrew types already !! Hello Battery Hen.
I see what you mean but I am no tinker lmao, My home address and number are on my website, I have a facebook page and a twitter account thanks so I dont really require any advice on that front from you.

However I would welcome anything constructive you may have to say.

I assume you have a problem with the street collectors of scrap appliances etc ?? I never do that, I only visit when invited.
Perhaps you prefer to see old washing machines and fridges fly tipped ?

Check the Environment Agency Public register of LICENSED WASTE CARRIERS online, you`ll see all my details there.

Thankfully Im one of these people who will give anyone a chance, I`ll treat everyone as I would like them to treat me

Audrey, removing an account is not easy when someone has made lots of posts (it's a database thing). Locking an account means that it can't be used or logged into.
