A COMMEMORATIVE tree and plaque have been unveiled in South Ribble to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The Mayor of South Ribble, Councillor Jim Marsh, together with his wife and Mayoress Susan, planted a Cedar of Lebanon tree in the formal gardens at Leyland’s Worden Park, 125 years after the ffarington family created a similar tribute to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.
