So what happened then?
This was published in 2008 and was full of wonderful plans as to how the Guild Hall was going to be vastly improved by the 2012 Guild.

Now all they can do is talk about knocking it down!

RE: So what happened then?
Having visited the venue twice recently in the space of four days (a play and a concert) the answer has to be that NOTHING has changed.

We did wonder when walking back to the car park, in company with several hundred other car users (all under cover) which direction we`d be taking if they pulled the bus station down.Confused

Preston Town Council seem devoid of any ideas except how to pull things down. Whether it's money or politics I'm not sure but it's a pleasure when anything decent's on at the Guild Hall, parking is ideal. In the bus station the labour council want pulled down. You couldn't make it up.
