Don't blame you.

Wonderful news about Joe Garner and his new two year deal.

The first regular goal scorer since the days of Nugent. Good news.

Just seen Sky Sport replay of FA game with MNU - nice to see banners for Sir Tom and what Deepdale looks like now (after 60+ years since I was last there!)

I see Rooney was at it again, gold medal for diving? Not the result you would have wanted but they gave it a good go.

RE: PNE season 2014-15
I was sat way away in The Invincibles Frank so every one round me thought it was a sending off for Stuckmann, we were all surprised when he stayed on. And then you see the slow motion replay. Mooney was standing in front of our goalkeeper in offside position when they got their second goal. Big teams always seem to get the favours, a few years ago when we played Liverpool at home in the cup Carragher dragged Parkin down in the penalty area, both arms round him ( that takes some doing, quite a size Mr Parkin) and they collapsed just to the right of goal near the by line. The ball flew out to St. Ledger who smashed the ball home. 1-1? No ref wiped it out, he'd seen Parkin tug at Carragher's shirt as they both started to get up.

It isn't just a superb football stadium now, part of it, the Lowthorpe rd side is Minerva Health Centre, the former national football museum is home of Heartbeat, there's a gym, cafe, much more.

Cheers Frank, it was a brilliant day out. Having been there in 1964 when we lost in the last couple of minutes having led for most of the game, and then lost in a record number of play offs, it was very emotional, like the lifting of a huge cloud. Just a pity we won't be seeing Wigan or Blackpool next season.
